Los estudiantes de la maestr\u00eda de Relaciones Internacionales con \u00e9nfasis en cooperaci\u00f3n para el desarrollo de la Universidad de Panam\u00e1 , coordinado por los profesores Eduardo Dixon y Deyanira Pino, realizaron un conversatorio sobre las experiencias vividas en este tema, por embajador Avil\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
El embajador, manifest\u00f3 sus experiencias vividas en la creaci\u00f3n del Plan Nacional de Cooperaci\u00f3n: “Panam\u00e1 Coopera”. Sus aportes al crear dos unidades dentro del Ministerio se Relaciones Exteriores, como lo fueron: El Departamento de Becas y Movilidad Estudiantil y el Departamento Bilaterial – Multicultural de Cooperaci\u00f3n. El primero para gestionar las becas recibidas por Panam\u00e1 en materia de cooperaci\u00f3n no reembolsable y el segundo para gestionar el Sistema de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional de Panam\u00e1, donde se registran todos los proyectos reembolsables o no al pa\u00eds, las buenas pr\u00e1cticas de cooperaci\u00f3n y los Fondos no reembolsables, cooperaci\u00f3n Sur Sur, entre otros.<\/p>\n
Alent\u00f3 a los estudiantes, a que pensar, debido a que en tiempos de crisis en cuando es importante desarrollar y transferir conocimiento para apoyarnos los unos a los otros, ya sea entre naciones, sector p\u00fablico o privados, o emprender por medio Organizaciones sin fines de Lucro ayudando a los m\u00e1s necesitamos, entre otros.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Avil\u00e9s talks about development cooperation with Master’s students<\/p>\n
Students of the Master’s program in International Relations, with emphasis on cooperation for development, at the University of Panama, held a discussion on the experiences of Ambassador Aviles about this area. This was coordinated by professors Eduardo Dixon and Deyanira Pino,<\/p>\n
The Ambassador spoke of his experiences in the creation of the National Cooperation Plan Panama Cooperative and his contributions to the creation of two units within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Scholarships and Student Mobility, and the Bilateral – Multicultural Cooperation Department. Ambassador Aviles was the first to manage the scholarships received by Panama in the field of non-reimbursable cooperation and the second to manage the International Cooperation System of Panama, where all projects reimbursable or not, good cooperation practices, non-reimbursable funds, South-South cooperation, to name a few, are registered.<\/p>\n
He encouraged the students to think laterally, as in times of crisis it is important to develop and transfer knowledge to support one another, be it between nations, the public or private sector, or through Not for Profit Organisations helping those most in need.<\/p>\n
