El rector Bernal, indic\u00f3 que es importante crear sinergias entre la Misi\u00f3n Diplom\u00e1tica y el Centro educativo paname\u00f1o con el objetivo de buscar alianzas en Ocean\u00eda para fortalecer la investigaci\u00f3n; realizar foros educativos virtuales, intercambios y aprovechar los fondos de cooperaci\u00f3n no reembolsables disponibles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En el encuentro participaron tambi\u00e9n, Doris Hern\u00e1ndez, Vicerrectora, qui\u00e9n manifest\u00f3 su inter\u00e9s en realizar intercambios con universidades australianas. Luis Torres, Director de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional present\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis de la regi\u00f3n y las posibilidad de desarrollar proyectos de triangulaci\u00f3n. El profesor, Arturo Rivera, indic\u00f3 su inter\u00e9s los campos virtuales educativos en ciencias de la salud y deportes. Mientras que el Profesor Jay Molino, ya ha identificado temas cient\u00edficos para investigar que impactan en el cambio clim\u00e1tico y enfermedades neurogenerativas en universidades en este regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El Embajador Avil\u00e9s por su parte explic\u00f3 que por medio UDELAS se puede incentivar a los australianos a estudiar el idioma espa\u00f1ol en Panam\u00e1, compartir buenas pr\u00e1cticas con pueblos nativos y desarrollar investigaciones conjuntas primero online y luego presencial en un futuro, para luego avanzar con Acuerdos que permitan la doble titulaci\u00f3n. \u00a0Por lo que organizar\u00e1 los esfuerzas de la Embajada para crear pr\u00f3ximamente un webminar binacional para potenciar la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La oferta acad\u00e9mica de UDELAS est\u00e1 concentrada en areas como: \u00a0Traducci\u00f3n e Interpretaci\u00f3n en la Lengua de Se\u00f1as; Educaci\u00f3n Biling\u00fce Intercultural\u00a0(Pueblos originarios), Deporte y Recreaci\u00f3n; enfermer\u00eda, urgencia m\u00e9dicas, entre otras. Adem\u00e1s, cuenta con una cl\u00ednica de salud deportiva y el Centro de atenci\u00f3n a la diversidad ( Autismo y sicolog\u00eda cl\u00ednica).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los interesados en aplicar a fondos de cooperaci\u00f3n no reembolsables en Australia pueden hacerlo por medio de los fondos del Consejo Australia Latinoam\u00e9rica (COALAR) del Departamento de Asuntos Exteriores y Comercio australiano entre abril y septiembre 2021 hasta un monto de USD 35,000 de d\u00f3lares: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfat.gov.au\/people-to-people\/foundations-councils-institutes\/coalar\/grants\">https:\/\/www.dfat.gov.au\/people-to-people\/foundations-councils-institutes\/coalar\/grants<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Estudiantes paname\u00f1os que deseen aplicar a becas en Carreras t\u00e9cnicas, podra recibir hasta USD11,400 aproximadamente anualmente para estudiar en diversas zonas: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.education.gov.au\/news\/destination-australia-scholarship-program\">https:\/\/www.education.gov.au\/news\/destination-australia-scholarship-program<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meeting with the Chancellor of the Universidad Especializada de las Am\u00e9ricas-UDELAS, Panama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Juan Bosco Bernal, the highest authority of the Universidad Especializada de las Am\u00e9ricas-UDELAS, together with his team, held a virtual courtesy visit to Ambassador Marcelino Avil\u00e9s. Chancellor Bernal indicated that it is important to create synergies between the Diplomatic Mission and the Panamanian educational center with the objective of seeking alliances in Oceania to strengthen research, carry out virtual educational forums, exchanges and take advantage of the non-reimbursable cooperation funds available.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was also attended by Doris Hern\u00e1ndez, Vice Chancellor, who expressed her interest in exchanges with Australian universities. Luis Torres, Director of International Cooperation, presented an analysis of the region and the possibility of developing triangular projects. Professor Arturo Rivera indicated his interest in the virtual educational fields of health sciences and sports. Professor Jay Molino has already identified scientific topics for research that impact climate change and neurogenerative diseases in universities in this region.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Aviles explained that through UDELAS, Australians can be encouraged to study the Spanish language in Panama, share best practices with native peoples and develop joint research first online and then in person in the future, and then move forward with agreements that allow dual degrees. \u00a0For this reason, he will organize the efforts of the Embassy to create a binational Webinar in the near future to promote education.<\/p>\n<p>The academic offerings of UDELAS are concentrated in areas such as: Translation and Interpretation in Sign Language; Intercultural Bilingual Education (Indigenous Peoples), Sports and Recreation; nursing, medical emergencies, among others.
