El Embajador de Panamá, Marcelino Avilés, tuvo la oportunidad de reunirse virtualmente con los corporativos Chris McGrath y Eden Tehan de la empresa innovadora australiana 5B, de energías renovables, quienes explicaron que tienen con Panamá la primera propuesta internacional hacia latinomérica, y que ven con muy buena proyección el desarrollo de esta nueva tecnología en el istmo. Por su parte el Jefe de Misión, les invitó a considerar nuestro territorio para establecerse y expandirse hacia la región, aprovechar la posición geografáfica, incentivos económicos y fiscales, que ofrecemos como nación.
Esta empresa de tecnología limpia, y desarrolladora de la solución Maverick, ha cerrado recientemente su ronda de inversiones de la Serie A de USD 8.4 millones (12 millones de dólares australianos), incluyendo inversiones de la Corporación AES. La inversión financiará el desarrollo contínuo y el despliegue global de su solución Maverick, plataforma y ecosistema – acelerando 5B para cumplir la promesa de su solución Maverick de las soluciones solares más simples, rápidas, inteligentes y de menor costo.

They explained that they have the first international proposal with Panama towards Latin America, and that they have a very good projection the development of this new technology in the isthmus.
