Panama and Canada wrote a new chapter in the framework of their diplomatic relations by holding on Monday, December 21, Bilateral Consultations in a virtual modality chaired by Vice Minister Dayra Carrizo Castillero and Deputy Vice Minister for the Americas Michael Grant accompanied by their respective teams.
The officials discussed a broad agenda of topics that included investment opportunities, position on issues in the regional and international agenda, and cooperation actions, among others.
These Consultations served as the framework for the official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding that establishes the Mechanism for Political Consultations between both countries.
Panama and Canada will be celebrating in 2021, 60 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
