Ayudas a estudiantes internacionales en NSW

Study NSW es el departamento del gobierno de NSW que colabora en las experiencias y brinda apoyo a los es- tudiantes internacionales en todo el estado.
Study NSW necesita el apoyo de los líderes comunita- rios para asegurar que todos los estudiantes internacio- nales reciben las ayudas disponibles, especialmente en estos tiempos de desafío originados por la pandemia del covid19.
El gobierno de NSW ha destinado A$20 millones para ayudar a los estudiantes internacionales que han quedado en Australia debido al covid19.
Las ayudas incluyen:
1) Ayudas temporales de residencia: que entrega has- ta 20 semanas gratuitas de alojamiento, para estudiantes que han perdido, estén en riesgo de perder su vivienda o tengan problemas para acceder a una vivienda. A los elegi- dos se le ofrecerá viviendas adecuadas cercanas a sus ac- tuales; las informaciones solicitadas solo serán utilizadas para evaluar las necesidades de cada solicitante. Se ha pedido a los estudiantes internacionales que soliciten esta ayuda. Por más informaciones, por favor llamar al 137 788.
2) Además se ofrece ayuda legal gratuita a través del International Student Legal Service NSW, para proteger los derechos legales de los estudiantes que residan o estudian en NSW,
3) Asimismo, hay ayudas médicas, de salud mental de emergencia, etc. 24/7 a través del servicio NSW Covid19. Por favor, llamar al teléfono 137 788.
Al 21 de junio 2020 habían 165.964 estudiantes internacionales residiendo y estudiando en NSW, y el gobierno estatal ha preparado un archivo informativo detallando las ayudas disponibles para los estudiantes internacionales en NSW.
Las ayudas incluyen a quienes se han graduado recien- temente y a los poseedores de visas 500, 408 o 485.

Aid to international students in NSW

Study NSW is the department of the NSW government that collaborates in the experiences and provides support to international students throughout the state.
Study NSW needs the support of community leaders to ensure that all international students receive the supports available, especially in these challenging times brought on by the pandemic of the pandemic in the country.19
The NSW government has allocated A$20 million to help international students left behind by the pandemic.19
The grants include:
1) Temporary Residence Grants: which provide up to 20 weeks of free accommodation for students who have lost, are at risk of losing, or have problems accessing housing. Those eligible will be offered suitable housing close to their home; the information requested will only be used to assess the needs of each applicant. 2) Free legal assistance is also available through the International Student Legal Service NSW, to protect the legal rights of students residing or studying in NSW,
3) There are also medical, mental health emergency aids, etc. available 24/7 through the NSW Covid service19. Please call 137 788.
As at 21 June 2020 there were 165,964 international students living and studying in NSW and the state government has prepared an information file detailing the grants available to international students in NSW.
Grants include recent graduates and holders of 500, 408 or 485 visas.
