“El Embajador Avilés participó junto con el Dr. Paul D’ Arcy de la Universidad Nacional Australiana del 18 al 19 de abril de 2020 en el Diálogo Virtual: “La Carta de la Tierra y el Cambio Climático – El Planeta en Llamas” en versiones español e inglés, organizado por los Jóvenes Líderes de la Carta de la Tierra, Embajadores Ciudadanos Agenda 2030, Red Internacional de Promotores ODS y la Red de Juventudes y Cambio Climático sobre sus experiencias que vivieron en los incendios forestales a finales del año 2019 y la gran importancia de las Relaciones Diplomáticas entre Panamá y Australia sobre el Medio Ambiente y el Desarrollo Sostenible, en conmemoración al Día de la Tierra, 20 Aniversario de la Carta de la Tierra y en memoria de las víctimas y animales que fallecieron en la Mancomunidad de Australia”.
