On May 21, the first meeting was held between the Diplomatic Academy “Ernesto Castillero Pimentel” and the Canadian Institute of Diplomatic Services, with the aim of exploring areas of mutual learning and collaboration between Panama and Canada within the framework of 60 years of Bilateral Relations between both countries.
The meeting was attended by Louis Marcotte, Dean and Director of the Canadian Institute, H.E. Lilly Nicholls, Canadian Ambassador to Panama, H.E. Romy Vásquez Morales, Ambassador of Panama to Canada, Ernesto Cerrud, Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Panama, Yill Otero, Director of International Cooperation, Jorge Corrales from Foreign Policy of Panama, Yessenia Fernández Head of Bilateral Cooperation, and from the Canadian side Ross Firla, Michael Roy, Dieter Plogger.
