El Embajador de Panamá, Marcelino Avilés y jefes de Misión latinoamericanos realizaron un encuentro con el nuevo Secretario Adjunto de Latinoamérica del Departamento de Asuntos Exteriores y Comercio de Australia, John Geering.
Se habló sobre el fortalecimiento de las relaciones con la región, fondos no reembolsables del Consejo de Relaciones con Latinoamérica (COALAR), mayores oportunidades para nuevos Tratados de Libre Comercio, incrementos de las inversiones, la educación, ciberseguirdad y tecnología.
La diversificación es importante, por lo que presenta grandes oportunidades mediante la cooperación internacional en diversas areas y el comercio al permitir las empresas australianas utilizar la posición geográfica panameña para acceder la mercado de la región.

Ambassador Marcelino Avilés of Panama, as well as the Latin American Heads of Missions met with the new Assistant Secretary for Latin America of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, John Geering.
They discussed strengthening relations with the region, non-reimbursable funds from the Council on Latin American Relations (COALAR), greater opportunities for new Free Trade Agreements, increased investment, education, cyber security and technology.
Diversification is important, as such there are great opportunities through international cooperation in various areas and trade through allowing Australian companies to use Panama’s geographical position to access the region’s market.
