El Embajador Avilés asistió recientemente a un debate entre el Ministro de Agricultura, el Honorable David Littleproud, y el Shadow Ministro de Agricultura, el Honorable Joel Fitzgibbon, sobre el presupuesto australiano y la forma en que afecta a la industria agrícola. Ambassador Aviles recently attended a discussion between the Minister of Agriculture, the Honorable David Littleproud, and the Shadow Minister of Agriculture, the Honorable Joel Fitzgibbon, about the Australian budget and how it affects the agricultural industry. The debate took place at the National Press Club in Canberra and included lively discussions about Australia’s large export industry, seasonal work programs and the effect of COVID19 on the economy. Ambassador Aviles was delighted to meet with the two ministers after the debate, where he was able to discuss the opportunities of the logistics system and the economic incentives for setting up in our country to promote its products and services to Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, the possibility of a parliamentary Friendship Group between both nations was discussed; Ambassador Aviles looks forward to continuing relations with both politicians.
